Keep making a difference (together)!

AGdD Funding for Projects by Former professional Development Workers or professionals in the Civil Peace Service

Were you a professional Development Worker or professional in the Civil Peace Service and would like to continue your involvement? Do you have an idea for how alumni can network, share experiences, or make a difference together?

Then apply for AGdD funding for your projects!

With this funding, we want to support you in turning your own ideas into reality – from small-scale exchange formats to new projects and joint initiatives.

Up to €1,000 is available for each project.

What kinds of projects are eligible for funding?

We’re looking for ideas that strengthen you as an alumni community, build on experiences from development and peace services, pass them on, and create a lasting impact.

We welcome projects that:

  • Promote exchange and networking among alumni
  • Facilitate the transfer of knowledge among alumni and help carry the resulting momentum into their own communities.
  • Support, promote, and highlight alumni engagement and solidarity.
  • Generate new ideas, projects, initiatives, and long-term collaborations through encounters and shared interests.
  • Cultivate and further develop international contacts and relationships, and use them to foster new exchanges and joint activities.

What might a project look like?

For example:

  • Symposia and regional networking meetings for former development workers
  • Workshops and peer-learning opportunities
  • Joint publications, podcasts, or videos
  • Activities promoting development policy, peace, and democracy

These are just suggestions – we look forward to your own creative ideas!

The following may apply:

  • Individuals (former professional Development Workers or professionals in the Civil Peace Service, as well as traveling partners)
  • Informal groups of alumni, associations, or initiatives in which former professional Development Workers or professionals in the Civil Peace Service are active
