What is it about?

Are you looking to establish your career in Germany? And are you seeking guidance on navigating the German job market?

The two-part web-training is addressed at returning development workers and accompanying partners who are orientating themselves professionally in Germany (perhaps for the first time) and do not speak German as their mother tongue.

Content and Benefits:

  • Working in Germany: Get an overview of the German labour market and recruiting processes.
  • Practical Insights: Gain knowledge about typical application processes and requirements in Germany. Learn how to craft effective German-style CVs and cover letters, and how to handle typical German interview processes.
  • Networking: Discover job portals and platforms to expand your professional network and integrate into the German working environment.
  • Personalized Guidance: Receive valuable tips on optimizing your application documents and preparing for job interviews based on your skills.
  • Develop your job strategy: In dialogue with the other participants, you will draw up a plan on how you can successfully find a suitable job.

The first part of the webinar will give you an overview of the labour market, explain typical application processes and provide practical tips for a successful career start and finding a job. In the second part, you will develop an individual strategy for your job search based on your professional aspirations and experience. This will help you decide on the next steps to be taken.
